A Bit About Me
Hi, I'm Debs
I’m so thrilled to have found my vocation in life.
As a mother of two in my early 40s, I have discovered I am strongest, happiest and most fulfilled when in the company of my children. Whether it's a morning of role play or collecting colours outdoors, I love nothing more than seeing my children grow. It’s the love and inspiration I find in those days that have drawn me to a career in childcare.

As a mother, I understand the challenges and worries that arise when choosing the right childcare for your children, and for you.

I believe that every person/child is unique, shaped by the choices we make together and the experiences they bring.

I am passionate about a child's learning and development journey, which is why I have gained a BSc in Psychology, helping me to better understand the needs and desires of the children I care for daily.
I strongly believe that creative motivation is an important driving factor in children's development and learning.
After all, they learn best through play!

Throughout the day, I draw inspiration from the EYFS Framework, which highlights seven areas of learning and development that must shape educational programmes in early years settings. Click here to learn more.

One of my main inspirations is my mother, who has been an influence on me through her management of playgroups and a university creche, and the positive impact she has had, and continues to have, on many children's lives.
I'm so thankful she still pops in from time to time and the children love when "Ninni" come round to play!

There are seven areas of learning and development that must shape educational programmes in early years settings. All areas of learning and development are important and interconnected. Three areas are particularly crucial for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships and thrive. These three areas, the prime areas, are:

-
communication and language
-
